This will be a meeting to discuss the following items:
1. Rebecca has a pool of community testers who want to help, but she doesn't have any tasks for them. How can we fix this?
2. Karl would like to hear from Marcia how Karl (and possibly Edwin) can help Marcia with some of the QA Community Management tasks, *without* stepping on her toes or causing her to feel sidelined.
3. Edwin would like to propose a list of sub-tasks under the general heading of "QA Community Engagement Tasks" and get rapid, in-person feedback on whether or not they are likely to be useful. Link: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/qa-community-ideas
Notes
- We don't have a 'pool' as such. But if we had tasks, we would get responses on mozwebqa.
- One or two new members on mozwebqa list per month.
- We're not tracking ny sort of metrics for new accounts on QMO or even specific page views on QMO.
- Craig Cook is the only development resource for QMO; he will have valuable insights.
- Don't ask folks to specialise too early.
- WE REALLY NEED a list of tasks to put into One and Done.
- MozTrap! Rebecca has given Edwin and Karl permission to create/edit tests in MozTrap. YAY!!!
- Wednesday meeting -- Karl will get volunteers from each group to write up tasks for inclusion in the One and Done task list.
- Action item for Rebecca: take point on creation of task list for Web QA.
- Edwin will talk with Marcia and Parul at 3pm today about rapid prototyping of a One and Done app.
