I am co-founder of Stumptown Syndicate, co-chair of Open Source Bridge conference and I co-host the technology podcast In Beta. I co-authored a book about Community Event Planning.

Based in Portland, OR, USA.

My last name is pronounced KAY-ler. You can also call me CK.

Role & Team

I am the Education lead on the Community Building Team within People (HR) under David Boswell.

I help drive the planning, development and implementation of Mozilla-wide educational and cultural resources that support and grow our contributor community.

Previously I have served as senior project manager with Technical Evangelism as well as Web Production.

Current Projects

I lead the Education & Culture working group, the Wiki Working group, am module owner for Mozilla Wiki.

Past projects include: Firefox OS app L10n platorm, Firefox OS Developer Phone (Geeksphone) program, State of Mozilla 2011 report, Mozilla Careers, Firefox Live, Firefox Flicks, Firefox 3.6 Start Page and De Todos Para Todos.
