Easy extra:
* 4) '''A link the Partner cares about'''
* 4) A Partner link.
** [https://welcome.webmaker.org/make/lightson/ Learning from the "Lights On After School" example]. This link is totally optional, and can be anything from our point of view: a link to a page, program or CTA the partner cares about. So long as its just copy and a URL, it's easy for us to add to the page, if the partner sees added value in it.

Sales

Sales Menu

What we're offering: a custom Partner Landing Page they'll love. It includes two key buckets:

a)
Partner details (standard elements that go on every page)

  • Partner name
  • Partner logo
  • Custom photo
  • Custom intro copy

b) Partner CTAs (what they want their staff / audience to *do*)

  • Chosen from the set menu below.

Partner CTA menu options

Specialty: Tailored Maker Parties

  • 1) “Host a Maker Party”
    • (links to Wizard. User chooses from one of three different Maker Parties.)
    • "I want to make it easy for my staff to host one of three different types of events."
  • 2) “Host a ‘Hack Your School’ Maker Party”
    • (links to a pre-selected event type in the Wizard.)
    • "I really like 'Hack Your School.' I want to make it easy for my staff to host that _one_ event type. So pre-select it for them."

Now out of scope

killed by Geoff:

  • 3) Optional: a lightweight custom Make
    • “Make this cool thing." / "Launch the experience." (e.g., "Make a YMCA digital poster)
    • "I want my staff to help kids make something awesome. Like a custom digital poster with an image I choose."
    • Links to a custom "Make Page." Like this: http://mzl.la/Afterschool_Make_Page
    • Note: the key to make this lightweight is: we just swap a new image into the make. Provided by the partner. More than that is probably out of scope.

Also off the menu / out of scope for now

  • "Co-branded" badges. We have the skill-sharer badge available. But co-branding is out of scope.
  • "A list of partner events." At the bottom of the landing page. Out of scope for now -- but could be added for v2.
  • "Count of how many people have accepted the challenge" To solve for empty-room syndrome, and measure the impact.

Who are we selling to?

Sales Funnels

  • Once partnership is closed, we build the custom landing page
  • We give them marketing support - see https://foundation.etherpad.mozilla.org/FallCampaignPartnerMktg
