The Webmaker Design team welcomes contributors. We want your ideas and your craft, and in return we offer a community of mentorship as well as the ability to contribute to a project being used by people around the world.
Want to contribute design skills to Webmaker? More information here: [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Design/Contribution https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Design/Contribution]

* Here's a list of [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=product%3Awebmaker%2C%20whiteboard%3A%20goodfirstbug%2C%20design&list_id=9862683 good first bugs] for design contributors.

If you have a bug that would be good for designers to tackle, here's our current working process:
* File a bug and tag the Whiteboard with [goodfirstbug] & [design]
* Also assign a Mentor by adding an email address in the mentor field. If you're not sure who to put as a mentor here, you can use Cassie (cassie@mozillafoundation.org), who may then reassign it to the appropriate person.
* When someone wants to take the bug, they can simply assign it to themselves if it's not taken already, or flag the mentor named in the bug for more information.
* Design work will need to be submitted for a Design Review before it can be implemented. The mentor can provide this review.
* Once design review is R+, the mentor can help loop in a dev to get the work implemented or follow up with user testing – whatever is the appropriate next step.
* Any questions or getting stuck? Email Cassie at cassie at mozillafoundation dot org or jump into #webmaker on [https://wiki.mozilla.org/IRC IRC] and ask anyone there.

Are you looking to contribute? Here is what you need to get started:
* We use Font Awesome for our icons. Visit [http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/ Font Awesome] and you will be able to download the .OTF font. You will now have a Font Awesome font that you can use on your design mockups
* We have a [https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_rbDAen9prkS0N4MXRqaGo4bEE&usp=sharing Shared Drive] of our Design Assets. Logos can be found here as well.
* We use [http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/open-sans Open Sans] and [http://www.latofonts.com/lato-free-fonts/ Lato] for our fonts.
* We use [http://getbootstrap.com/ Bootstrap] for our HTML markup. This is especially helpful when designing, as the [http://getbootstrap.com/css/#grid Bootstrap Grid] should give you an idea of how to layout your designs.
* We have our own Bootstrap theme which we've named [http://mozilla.github.io/makerstrap/demo/#/ Makerstrap]. This resource will be super helpful when designing anything that needs to adhere to the Webmaker visual language.
