Organizing a Marketplace Day in your hometown is a great way to connect with contributors and get things done together. Here are resources to help you organize one.

Past Marketplace Day Events

Attendees

  • 20-30 is recommended
  • Skillset should be appropriate for the focus of the event (i.e. coding, technical writing, research, translation)

Venue, Duration, & Food

Good venues for these events are:

  • Mozilla space
  • Co-working spaces

Weekends are preferable, especially for attendees who are working or in school.

Day events (8am-5pm)

  • Breakfast & lunch

Overnight events (6pm-6am)
