Firefox 2 Project Planning

This is a starting point for planning and design information for the Firefox 2 release, including schedules, feature sets, and branch process information.

Nothing here is finalized, let alone set in stone. Individuals working on the project or interested in the process are encouraged to subscribe to the mailing list

Project Status

Most current activity on the Firefox 2 front is wrapped up in planning, scoping, and assigning tasks. Please see the features list and the planning documents linked therein for more information.

Firefox 2 will aim to build on the success of Firefox by addressing issues related to the problem of managing the vast amounts of information available on the Internet. Our goal is to provide a browser that helps users manage and organize their online information channels.
