This page still needs some cleaning up, as per Carlo's notes below.
Carlo -- December 22, 2009 While I love the map, I have a question here: don't you think that the drumbeat pinpoint is a bit too fat to pinpoint one single location? what if the density is way more than now?
Agreed. Haven't changed it in mock-up, because this map is placeholder only -- we will control ourselves in My Google Maps and replace drums with simple push-pins
Event dates Carlo:
- it's a bit misleading the way date are styled.
- at first glance it seemed that bolded big numbers were participants.
- could also help to have an action button (like an arrow) to lead people clicking on event to discover more.
Agreed. Let's fix in next iteration.
Questions:
- Should we be thinking about ways to include affiliate events streams, as feeds, etc? Should they show up in the calendar?
