4.0 RC Test Plan

Firefox 4 RC Bug Verifications and Focused Testing

In addition to running all the Mozmill BFT automated tests, we will test around areas with fixes. The end goal is to make sure the fixes for RC1 are actually fixed and haven't introduced new problems.

Instructions:

  1. Download builds: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/4.0rc1-candidates/build1/
  2. See the list of fixes for each area
  3. Test around the fixes

Where there are no related Litmus testcases it is up to the feature owners to test their areas.

These are the fixed bugs from Firefox and these are the fixed bugs from Core . Please add any areas that are not present below.
