|
| |
| A quick explanation: this page started as a guide to common web analytics questions and answers and proved so handy it's scope quickly evolved. I then moved it from the intranet "metrics" domain to this vanity URL within the public Wiki. We'll see how this page evolved further, but for now, it'll serve as a quick reference to all the common questions and answers I receive here at Mozilla.

| === Q: How much traffic is What's New or First Run sending my marketing campaign? ===
| |
|
| |
| A: To view referral traffic from our Product Pages, check the profile of the website your promo is sending people to. For example, if there is a promo for Aurora on the What's New page, you'd check the (Mozilla.com 50% sample), which is where the Aurora promo points to.

| Within that report view the "Referral by Page URL" report. Find the page your promo is pointing to (in this example it goes to the /channel page), and then click on that page to see it's referring traffic.
