Friends of the Tree
Gary and Dmose would like us to recognize Wayne Mery (IRC: wsmWK) for his great help in setting up Thunderbird's first bug day. He almost single-handedly created the wiki pages, made the announcements on planet, QMO, newsgroups and mozillaZine forums, and joined in the Americas session to start off the bug day.
Development Updates
Fx 2.0.0.13 / TB 2.0.0.13 / Fx 2.0.0.14
Released Firefox 2.0.0.13 last Tuesday to the glee of millions of users all over the galaxy. Had a relatively short post-mortem with notes from issues during the release. Overall, 2.0.0.13 went really smooth. Tracking a few regressions to fix in 2.0.0.14.
Build is scheduled to start work on Thunderbird 2.0.0.13 today, but might get pushed a day. QA plans to start testing tomorrow or Wednesday.
A scheduling meeting for Firefox 2.0.0.14 will happen later this week. Look for email to dev-planning tomorrow.
