This v1 release of Firefox Hub is focused on:
- Implementing the initial feature set and API
- Supporting new RSS feed panels in about:home
- Shipping two RSS feed add-ons for Firefox Hub
- Introducing the feature to developers
Deliverables
- Firefox Hub MVP feature set
- Add-on allowing users to quickly add the partner feed panel to about:home (project page TBD)
- Add-on allowing users to add arbitrary RSS feeds as about:home panels (project page TBD)
Justification
Firefox Hub is in support of the following Firefox goals:

- Minimal user-perceptible performance hit
- Minimal increase in APK size
