About Rajasthan

Rajasthan is the largest state in Indian subcontinent. It is located on the northern side of the country. Rajasthan is one of the fastest growing region in terms of technology and opportunities.

About Mozilla Community Rajasthan

Mozilla Community Rajasthan is a proud community of awesome volunteers who are enthusiastic about open source and are deeply involved in promoting Mozilla and its mission of keeping the web open and accessible for everyone. We have many Mozillians including active Mozilla Reps, Firefox Student Ambassadors and Firefox clubs in the region.

Objective(s)

MCR align with the Mozilla's goal of building and keeping the internet as public resource open and accessible for everyone. We have formed few Interest Groups with the objective of continuous recognition to the volunteers and helping smooth on boarding of newbies.

Special Interest Groups

We are working on on-boarding Special Interest Groups.

SIGs help contributors to make them work with people of similar interest in team/group for better impact & momentum
SIGs help in attracting and smooth on-boarding of new contributors
SIGs will help us in tracking work of all contributors and recognizing the amazing ones.

We are pleased to announce the selected SIG mentors -

Webmaker SIG : Adit Bharadwaj & Raashya Sharma
Appdev / Marketplace SIG : Md Shahbaz Alam & Hitesh Verma
L10n SIG : Talha Anwar
Codebase SIG : Sagar Chand & Raj Rohit
WoMoz SIG : Shivangi Srivastava & Namrata Jain
All the SIG Mentors can co-ordinate with Oshoparth for all the information and resources required on short notice in Jaipur and nearby regions (Although its recommended to notify us a month prior to the event).

This etherpad contains more detailed information about the SIGs and on-boarding process which was followed to select mentors and members of these groups.

Newbies can refer this etherpad for quick introduction and good-first-activities.
