Running tests:
- can Firefox launch?
- can we kill firefox and get a crash dump?
- is the windows manager working?
- is the screen saver on?
- do we meet a minimum screen resolution?
- figure out a list of fonts required for tests, we have rtl fonts and a bunch of others
Set up work:
- Add platform and machine to try and make sure that all jobs pass on it 10 times and 8/10 are green.
- Graph server definitions for the machine
- We submit for build and talos jobs
Comparitability of platform:
- Push to try 6 times with a comparable platform
- TODO: write script (or dashboard) to make this easier
- Run times are no more than a related platform
- TODO: write script (or dashboard) to make this easier
- Does it show up on Perfherder?
Treeherder:
- When the job fails, does it show similar summaries on the TH panels?
- Can we retrigger the job?
As a loaner:
- Can VNC into it
- Be able to copy/paste into command prompt when connected through VNC
- Can SSH into it
- Can gain root/Administrator powers to install packages
