  • We shipped firefox+fennec 52.0, firefox 45.8.0esr, firefox 52.0esr
  • https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ doesn't have 52 yet, waiting for releng to deploy some changes on ship-it ( https://github.com/mozilla-releng/ship-it/pull/152#pullrequestreview-25583298 )
    • we need that for the email to the enterprises ML
  • What's new page removed

• 53.0b1 hit some delay. We should be ready to build soon, releng is fixing another issue first.

Add-ons

• Based on shims, updating system add-on to turn off e10s for all but MPC=True and webextensions https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1344345 - for 51 and 52. This is rolling back 42M from 770 whitelist that were added in 51. Back to criteria from Release 50.

• shutdownhangs with the "MEGA" addon - around 25k crash reports from 51.0.1 last week
  • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1306838

   [shell] looks like happened after latest update enabled the MPC=true flag.  this add-on hits a known issue with the shim performance, so i requested in bug that they remove MPC=true.

  • it seems to happen once per each update of the extension, but it is widespread (~1% of users on release have it) and updates frequently

awsy rate: 15.54 (browser 1.83, content 13.70) - was 18.75 at the end of the last cycle telemetry (m+c-s) from friday: 9.55 (week before: 12.48, this time last cycle: 9.21)

• Telemetry: as per chutten's mail to the stability list "main" crash rates may be inflated (by 40%) since builds from mid of february - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1345153

• 54 Overall rate from last Tuesday is about the same
• Nick filed a cubeb bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1344580. I added one additional signature that is likely related
• Crash stats shows an upward spike on March 4th. Explosive report did not show anything unusual
• Too early to see any trends in 55 -> https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/topcrashers/?product=Firefox&version=55.0a1&days=7
