Unfortunately there is not widespread adoption of geolocation on the internet, so I won't have a large list of websites to very compatibility with.

For reference, here is our general page that explains what Geolocation is: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/geolocation/

We do need help making sure geolocation works for you, isn't confusing, and doesn't break things (like Add-ons, private browsing, etc...).

Here is what Geolocation has:

visit a site that asks for information
- choose to "Share Location"
- option to remember your choice for that specific website
ability to remove your geolocation preferences (remembered sites) in the "Clear Recent History" tool.

Here are some test sites that use the new Geolocation API:

* http://people.mozilla.org/~dougt/geo.html
* http://people.mozilla.com/~jmaher/wifi.html
* http://brightkite.com (you need to sign up and find the "guess my location")
* http://htmlfive.appspot.com/static/whereami.html
