  • 4b8: Possibly spinning candidate builds on Tuesday.
    • Testing focus will be on Sync
    • Target ship date: 12/21 (Monday) at the earliest

  • Issues
    • bug 618828 Cannot access tabs from secondary window via click
    • bug 619033 Doorhanger notifications are cropped when having an add-ons manager maximized window
    • bug 619040 Misplaced doorhanger of geolocation retrieving when going fullscreen mode(f11)
    • bug 619055 Text cursor should be active only when mouseover() the exact area of the group name field
    • bug 619065 Moving tabs around in fullscreen (f11) should also have some position indicator
    • bug 618816 Character by character selection using the mouse in the tab group name field.

  • Only bug 601139 is blocking beta 3. cmon guys, keep looking for them!
  • Address the fennec issues reported by Anamaria in the spreadsheet
  • beta3 testplans and assignments (please confirm)
• Waverley (Adriana, Ioana, Anna)
  • Status:
    • ran Smoke tests, BFT's and OS integration on nigthly builds on all the available devices (Nokia N900, HTC Desire, Samsung S galaxy Captivate, Motorola Droid 2)
    • Sync matrix testing: updated the Sync matrix spreadsheet
    • Bugs logged (for sync testing):
      • bug 618945 Sync update message not displayed on the device
      • bug 618970 Sync does not connect on fennec when the desktop client has old sync version
      • bug 618974 Sync upgrade error on device when upgrading from Sync 1.5 to 1.6
      • bug 618858 Items in about:sync-tabs are not refreshed.
  • Issues/Questions
    • there are some bugs we logged in the last weeks, that we consider they should be fixed before beta 3 release:
      • bug 614547 - Fennec crash [@ GeckoStart ]
      • bug 617297 - Fennec 4.0b3pre Crash Report [@ nsXPConnect::GetPrincipal ] (this one is still NEW, but we could not reproduce it with latest build)
      • bug 617326 - Inconsistencies while searching in google.com
      • bug 591307 - Hardware and soft keyboard stop working after displaying a dialog in a new window
      • bug 610670 - Cannot enter text after pressing the system Back button
