* {{bug|964297}} - ja-JP build is partially localized (About Firefox)
* {{bug|945143}} - The text from the installer and the browser is displayed as glyphs in ja-jp build under Win XP
* The update channel is not shown in the About dialog for the RC builds - this is by design (see {{bug|885347}}), but it breaks the user experience when the RC is on the beta channel given beta build do usually show the update channel. Updates work fine, this is just a UI issue.
* On Windows,the "updates" folder is located under Local -> Mozilla -> updates, not profile folder as specified in testcases.
* update.stats is update.status in the updates folder - testcase misspelling?
* The contents of /updates/0/ folder are removed after a successful update (all OSs). AUS URLs from the console (all three were displayed for the same update):

RC Beta Testing

The following tracks testing of delivering release candidate builds to users on the Beta channel. The purpose is to get more users using the RC builds and to give us more data to make a better decision on the impact of AMD Radeon stability. Work is being tracked in bug 908134.

Coverage

  • Platforms: Windows (XP/Vista/7/8), Mac OSX (10.6/7/8/9), Ubuntu 13.10
  • Locales: en-US, de, ja-JP
  • Update Paths: 26.0b10 -> 26.0#1 -> 26.0#2 -> 27.0b1 on the brbtest channel
  • Update Types: partial, complete, fallback
  • Tests: in moztrap (results)
  • Builds: 26.0b10
