Program Levels
We're launching a 4-tiered recognition system. An Ambassador should take the listed steps to reach each tier. These are by no means restrictions, please feel free to go above and beyond!
- NOTE: When you reach any of the following levels, take a screenshot of that level's achievement email and share it on your online profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) or upload it over cloud (make sure that it's privacy is set to "Public"). You will be asked to provide the link for progressing to further levels.
Beginner
WHO: A beginner is a student who has recently joined the Firefox Student Ambassador program and is starting to learn about it. He/she is getting acquainted with our online community and looks out for our updates to become more active. A beginner plays an important role in getting more students from his/her campus interested in joining the Firefox Student Ambassador program by sharing about it on social media and decorating his/her online profiles.
HOW: To become a Beginner, you should:
- Follow the steps outlined in the FSA Beginner's Guide

- Make sure the privacy of your posts/tweets is “Public”
BENEFITS:

- A project on Thimble or Webmaker about Firefox or Mozilla
- A blog post about your experience as a Firefox Student Ambassador
- An app submitted into the marketplace with tag #FirefoxStudents
- You will be asked to share the link to your creation
- Watched 1 Office Hour or RSVPed to the latest one
- You will be asked which one!
- Registered to Firefox Friends
- Participated in Campaign Challenge
- If you have participated in Firefox for Windows 10 or "Take Back the Web" Campus Campaign, show how you've contributed to the campaign.

- Submit the link to your profile, make sure it's filled out!

A senior is always looking for ways to guide new Ambassadors and welcome new students into the Mozilla community. This here is a Mozillian who is fearless and bold!
HOW:Because a senior is the highest level, we do not have defined steps for you to follow. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Here are just general requirements to becoming senior and what we look for:
- Achieved the Junior Level
- A Club Lead for 6 months or an FSA for 1 year
- Have contributed for 4-6 months more after reaching the Junior level

- Such as QA, MDN, SUMO, Localization, Privacy, and more!
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and the ability to think outside the box
- Have a passion for aiding other students and those in their community. As a Senior, you'll be acting as a mentor to younger FSAs!
BENEFITS: Ambassadors who become a Senior will receive the Senior achievement Email, be recognized on our Facebook and Twitter channels and in our monthly newsletter, be nominated to become a Regional Ambassador Lead, vouched on Mozillians.org, and receive a special recognition pack with exclusive FSA swag to rock around campus! There will be special impactful projects that Seniors may participate in.
