How to get involved

Volunteering for Mozilla Festival 2018 is an application process. While not a competitive process, we will be primarily considering the following in each application: Any history of not complying with Mozilla’s Community Participation Guidelines The capacity for volunteers on each day. We determine numbers on how many volunteers we need for each day, and we will look to ensure we stay within a margin of this number.

You can apply for Mozilla Festival’s Volunteer Program at: https://ti.to/mozfestvolunteers/mozfest-volunteer-program-2018

What to Expect as a Volunteer

What will I do?

Volunteers are integral to the Festival, and we ask Volunteers to help with a number of roles. Please, the link below for more information. We are also always interested if you have any specific skills you can bring to the Festival. Please email [mozfestvols@mozilla.org mailto:mozfestvols@mozilla.org] if you have anything in mind.

Will I be fed?

All volunteers are provided lunch while working at the event. If you work late over the weekend we will cover dinner too. There is awesome coffee on site and snacks available to keep the energy levels up for all those stairs. We will have a party on Saturday night with food and drink catered for and karaoke!! All food intolerances will be covered. Those volunteering late in the venue set up on the Friday night and the Sunday night will receive dinner and snacks. MozFest House volunteers will be regularly fed through their shifts.
