The Opportunity
There is an opportunity to increase the number of active Firefox users by:
- Making that people who choose to download Firefox (intentionally click on the download button) successfully download and install Firefox
- Increasing engagement of new users to they continue choosing to use Firefox in subsequent browsing sessions
Recommendations (Dec 08)
- Remove barriers to successful download and installation
- Make availability of support top-of-mind for users
- Help new users quickly become power users of Firefox
- Engage the Mozilla community to help with engagement and retention
- Facilitate the transition from other browsers
- Address site incompatibility issues (perceived and real)
