to satisfy both newbies and geeks : make 3 different interfaces available (maybe 2) : One, clear, for newbies who only want to surf, one other for accustomed users, and one last for advanced user, with many option and/or shortcuts everywhere. I tried this on an older program when I was beginning, and, amha, it enhance learning of the software. |

Do something like the gesture command of Opera, when you push the right mouse button and make a specific movement to issue a command. I use the close window gesture intensivly. I think that is the fastest of all ways to issue a commands.
