Rep Advisers

Rep Advisers are a dedicated collection of Mozilla Reps who are members of the Student Working Group and serve as regional leaders in the Firefox Student Ambassador program and help complete the following tasks:

  • Recognizing and rewarding students who have advanced to the next levels of the program
  • Guiding and advising the Regional Marketing Ambassadors

Rep Adviser Roles & Responsibilities

Roles

  • Each Adviser is appointed for a period of six months
  • One person can only be a Lead for a maximum of one year

Responsibilities

Each Lead must comply with the following responsibilities (or be subject to replacement in their position):

  • Meet with the RMAs in their region at least once/month and ensure they are on the right track and help them with their events
  • Distribute badges to those Ambassadors in their region in a way that aligns with the monthly badge distribution timeline
  • Must be a registered Firefox Student Ambassador (so that they stay updated on the program)
  • Evangelize the program over their social media channels, email, and interactions with other Mozillians
  • Must be a great example in the community of what it means to be a good Firefox Student Ambassador :)
