I just tried to migrate from Eudora 7 [paid] to Eudora 8b3 [open] and everything went well until I tried to import my extensive address books. Eudora 7 allows you to create as many address books as you like and creates a file in the Nickname folder called bookname.nnt with an index called bookname.toc.
