FSA Executive Board
The FSA Executive Board is a composition of Mozilla Reps who act as the leadership body for the Student Ambassador program due to their passion for helping students and their love for Mozilla. As leaders within the Firefox Student Ambassador program, they are responsible for:
- Running all aspects of operation of the FSA Program
- Integrating students into large-scale Mozilla Rep campaigns
- Recognizing and rewarding students who have done an *amazing* job
- Driving our social media channels
- Guiding and advising all groups involved in the program
- Mentoring individuals who are new to the program community
For more information on the FSA Executive Board (or how to get involved), please see here
Regional Ambassador Leads
Regional Ambassador Leads (RALs), consisting of dedicated Mozilla Reps and exceptional Student Ambassadors, coordinate marketing campaigns and community activities in their region. Depending on the region, RALs may lead a team of Regional Ambassadors. Their duties include:
- Guiding and advising the Firefox Clubs and Student Ambassadors in their region
- Recognizing and rewarding students who have done an *amazing* job
- Aiding FSA members in hosting regional events
- Planning and executing regional meetups, trainings, or activities for Clubs and Student Ambassadors
Currently RALs are based on nomination by the Executive Board. For a list of existing RALs, see here.
Regional Ambassadors
Regional Ambassadors serve as regional leaders in the Firefox Student Ambassador program that help advise the actions of Firefox Clubs and Student Ambassadors as well as provide aid in the execution of regional activities. More information on how to apply for Regional Ambassadors will be provided soon.
Firefox Clubs
Want to meet other Ambassadors at your local university and work with them to promote Firefox (and earn rewards!)?
Firefox Clubs are a key grouping of Student Ambassadors at your school which function as Mozilla's liaison at these institutions. As a Firefox Club, you will work as a team to help others learn about our products, grow the Mozilla community (at your school), host events, teach the web to your school and community, and participate in campaigns!
While there are several reasons to create (or participate) in a Firefox Club, here are just a few:
- Leadership Experience
- Mozilla Gear and prizes!
- Recognition in your school and local community
- Possible entrance into the Mozilla Reps Program
- Opportunity to rise up in the FSA Program Structure
For more information about Firefox Clubs, please visit here.
Firefox Student Ambassadors
Firefox Student Ambassadors are individuals who are passionate about Firefox, Mozilla, and the open web!
To become a Firefox Student Ambassador you must be:
- Excited to promote Mozilla's products and mission
- 18+ years of age
- Currently associated with an institution of higher education as a student
