PlanIT Impact Website Development update: | |||
The team is finalizing the Stormwater, Energy and Walk Score data visualizations; they'll be fully functional and ready for demo use before this Wednesday's KCDC meeting. | |||
We secured feedback on the logo variants we presented last week. We’re underway with refining our agency recommended variant to make it simpler and less busy. We’re also underway with developing an accompanying logo bug based off of the approved data visualization wheel. | |||
Next week we’ll kick off development of the site user manual. | |||
The team discussed issues relating to better control over purchased licenses. We’ll be working next week to set up a mechanism to prevent the uncontrolled sharing of purchased licenses. | |||
We’re underway with adding registration marks to references of “Walk Score” throughout the site, per our discussion Monday afternoon. We’ll also develop and add a definition of what the Walk Score means and how it’s calculated. | |||
We have been working on website content drafts and will be getting this integrated into the website this week. | |||
Next week we’ll explore including demographic data if it’s easy and available in the data visualizations. | |||
We’re meeting at KCDC Wednesday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to conduct a functionality overview for the student site beta testers. | |||
Work continues with migration of the approved graphic design elements and data visualization treatments to the demo site. | |||
