If you have experience in Javascript, XUL, C++, or other programming languages, you may be able to help Thunderbird by submitting patches for bug fixes and enhancements.
Here's some information on how to get started.
- Take a look at our introduction, build Thunderbird, and then you are all set to fix bugs and submit patches.
- If you want specific Thunderbird bugs, then here's some to look at:
- Scratch your itch/fix your pet peeve. Search bugzilla for specific keywords
- Mentored Bugs have a mentor who commits to helping you every step of the way.
- Advanced / Product focussed bugs
