Mozilla Academy Framework
Mozilla Academy (short MozAcademy) is a series of technical events/workshops focused to attract contributors in intensive weekly training sessions. It is designed to run for several months and is the result of the Participation Team efforts for Firefox OS, starting as a pilot project in Albania at Open Labs hackerspace, where Mozilla Albania is incubated.
MozAcademy in its first iteration has a technical focus, specifically facilitating and promoting Firefox OS events where participants can interact with technical projects focusing on the Ignite initiative and the Spark tools in Firefox OS 2.5 Participants are encouraged to hack on Firefox OS add-ons, apps and bugs.
What it is about:
Firefox Student Ambassadors are individuals who are passionate about Mozilla, the open web, and the many benefits of Firefox and its products including Firefox OS.
They are a global pack of do-gooders and dedicated defenders of the Web! Creative and resourceful, FSAs lead campaigns and projects at their colleges and in their communities to encourage others to contribute to the Mozilla mission and utilize our products. Not just that, Firefox Student Ambassadors are web educators and strives to keep the power of the Web in hands of users everywhere.
Student Ambassadors are given the opportunity to learn new skills, earn recognition, and advance their leadership in not just the Mozilla community, but in their school and local community.
