| The following are mock-ups I made in 5 minutes in MSPaint in 2010 to show how Firefox (or any other browser -- should you have a realistic fork of Firefox then this would be a good name!) could be better branded. It simply makes no logical sense to click on an icon of a fox to take the web for a spin!:

| This would make much more sense to novice computer users, and can also be used to educate children better about wildlife.

| The colours are intentionally similar to the existing Firefox logo so it looks familiar from a distance. With more time spent on graphic design this could look even more alike.

| The idea is that the spider spins around the web so fast that the silk glows red-hot! (FireSpider?)
| |
| | |
| That old fox also looks grumpy. The spider is so much happier and will cheer up your day! :P
| |
| | |
| The (cute) spider tentacles over the globe also ties in nicely with the Mozilla/Godzilla theme of a giant creature dominating earth!
