- Sept. 3, 2018 Most Outreachy mentoring communities and internship projects will be listed
- Sept. 20, 2018 Applicants start making contributions to internship projects
- Oct. 2, 2018 Last date for new mentoring community listings
- Oct. 16, 2018 Last date for new internship project listings
- Oct. 30, 2018 at 4pm UTC Application deadline. Last day to finish any contributions to internship projects. Applications who made a contribution must submit the rest of their project application by this date.
- Oct. 6, 2018 at 4pm UTC Late application deadline for specific projects (see below for which projects are accepting late applications)
- Oct. 30, 2018 to Nov. 16, 2018 Applicants are encouraged to continue making contributions
