Ideas on how to showcase video tag & open video technology
- On-site video mashup:
- Provide number of eyefi cameras
- Upload & transcode video
- Provide Ubuntu stations for people to take conference footage and mash it up
- Do HTML 5 <video> gallery of the raw footage and edited pieces
- Video contest:
- Kick off contest 1 month prior to OVC for best use of open video technologies
- Feature videos in showcase at OVC
- Announce winner at OVC or showcase as part of Firefox 3.5 launch
- Video-based brady-bunch screen:
- Have people upload video of themselves and project on screen BB-style
- Awesome tech demo:
