- Stephen Horlander starts today as a visual designer for Firefox! Stephen has been involved with Firefox since 1.0, working on the primary theme for Windows. Mac and Linux for 1.0 and 1.5, and the default OSX theme for Firefox 3.0

Security
Fuzz-testers Martijn Wargers and Paul Nickerson are visiting Mountain View this week. We'll be scheduling meetings with lots of groups, such as the people working on the HTML5 parser.
There might be areas that need fuzzing that we're not aware of. If you need something fuzzed, find us near the QA area this week!

Firefox 3.5 Launch
- Firefox 3.5 Swag Requests: We now have 205 requests for swag packs for 3.5 launch parties (up from 106 requests last week). Some of the new requests this week have come from India, Macedonia, Spain and Mexico.
- Firefox 3.5 Parties: Over 20 parties this week alone on Spread Firefox. Some parties this week are taking place in Romania, Mexico and the UK.

- In less than a week, we've seen 16 million downloads (thanks to Daniel for the cool visualization and live counter)
- A couple different sources for real-time market share data (here's one example) show Fx3.5 at nearly 4% worldwide market share
- June market share – Net Applications is still working through some issues. Almost all data has been temporarily removed from their site and a note states, "Browser and O/S June stats under review. We are investigating some significant variations in browser and operating system statistics. The reports will not be available until we complete our review."

- Chelsea Novak joins the Mozilla Foundation this week as fundraising manager, working out of the Toronto office; please join us in extending a warm welcome to Chelsea!
- We continue to prepare for the relaunch of www.mozilla.org:

- Gerv updated the Firefox Language coverage data for Firefox 3.5 and reblogged it.
- In grant news, the Mozilla Corporation made a $10,000 grant to the Software Freedom Conservancy to help the Conservancy expand its activities in support of free and open source software projects.
