Target projects: P2PU School of Webcraft, Universal Subtitles (Open Video Lab), Wikimedia Lounge (increase the existing content in spanish, catalan, basque, and other local languages), remixing content (open video + html5) and create great learning materials.
Target audience: local free thinkers, educators, web developers, Digital commons initiatives.
The challenge: keep the interest of free culture/free software/open education activists meanwhile raise the awareness of the mainstream public (people who every day contribute to build the digital knowledge base). Go to “making things” rather than talking. Use the “digital commons activism” as a source code.


1)Share knowledge – Informal learning (collaboration, knowledge exchange). An education environment that allows all people to share knowledge (in this case about the web and open technologies). --> could be explored here the Commons Institution ? Main point: we are living one of the most important times for the future of our culture (books, videos, and other kind of content that are part of our knowledge base). In the next years, millions of books will be digitized,, millions of videos will move online, tons of very important information are already available on the network and there will be more and more).
Need of technological solutions and “community-driven” organization. Prioritization of local projects and facilitation of information exchange with other local projects.

3)The paradigm of the Internetworks: The Internet as a set of networks. Can be explored the Interwebs as well. Starting from the main principle of the Web: “anything can link with anything” we can state that currently the web is the most important tool that helps on creating a good communication within the Netwoks. And web developers are the target in this case. Developing open tools and cool stuff on the web, facilitate the collaboration between projects and communities.
