Current options for managing add-ons installed by third parties and system administrators are limited. We allow disabling but not uninstalling. We also currently do not provide adequate warning to users that new third-party provided add-ons have been installed.

Goals
- Make users aware when new add-ons have been installed that they may not know about
- Users should be able to opt out of such add-ons before the add-on's code haa a chance to run
- Allow uninstalling third party add-ons in some way
- Consider how to allow "reinstalling"

- Support removing other applications on the system from within Firefox
