Revision as of 17:15, 10 May 2011

The mailing list posts are merely simplified versions of the QMO post.

What to post
  • On the week before, post a brief summary of the activity and when it is taking place, providing a link to the QMO event page for more information.
  • On the day before, reply to your mailing list threads simply reminding people of what is happening tomorrow
  • On the day after, reply to your mailing list threads thanking people for helping and linking them to the testday results on QMO. You should also ask them to check out the next testday (should a link be available)
Where to post

At a bare minimum, you should post your event to the following lists:

  • community-qa@lists.mozilla.org
  • dev.quality@lists.mozilla.org
  • events@lists.mozilla.org
  • nightly-testers@mozilla.org
  • qa-contribute@mozilla.com
  • Link

There may be other lists which are appropriate to specific testdays (dev-apps-firefox or dev-l10n for example). Feel free to consult the full list.
