Jetpack Project Web Presence Clean-up
TL;DR
The aim of this project is to clean up and focus the web presence for the Addons SDK such that there is an obvious pathway for both developers using the SDK and contributors to the project to learn about the project, the code and the community.
Meeting Notes
Short term measures
What can we do immediately to improve things?
- re-format the developer hub landing page so that it links to the wiki for project info, and to the examples and tutorials
- improve this page: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/addons
- add section on MDN for SDK examples
- clean up older content on the wiki
Medium / Long-term measures
What are the longer term goals we have?
Kill the developer Hub!
The current landing pages for Addons on AMO could be reduced to a single, simple page that explains an overview of addon development and then points visitors to various sections on MDN.
Integration of Addons development info & docs
On post-Kuma MDN, the developer documentation for the SDK should be integrated alongside the exissting addon developer docs.
