We need a Django/Python hacker to work on [[Witness|Witness]], a web app for helping us (and anyone else who needs it) make sure person A has agreed to document X. There are loads of applications for this:
* Proof that a Mozilla contributor has agreed to our Committer’s Agreement
* Proof that someone has agreed to the IPR policy necessary for contributing to a standards body mailing list
* Proof that someone has agreed to a trademark licence
This is basically an app to make legal paperwork less of a hassle in open source projects and other places, an idea which we think people will like :-) It has interesting parts to do with BrowserID integration, identity verification, and how you make an electronic record of someone's agreement that will stand up in court. There are a couple of [http://blog.gerv.net/2012/05/witnes/ blog] [http://blog.gerv.net/2012/07/can-i-get-a-witness/ posts] about it too.
