Goal

The Mozilla platform will use separate processes to display the browser UI, web content, and plugins. The working name for this project is Electrolysis, sometimes shortened to e10s.

The project has been revisited and R&D is underway as of May 2013.

  • C = Needs to be consulted on key topics, often this would be for subject mater experts that need to be consulted but don't have decision making power.
  • I = Needs to be kept informed, those that just need regular status reports sent to them.
