Getting involved

There are several ways to get involved and give feedback on the standard:

Roadmap

  • February 2013 - Work begins
  • February-April 2013 - Community calls working on the framework
  • 26 April 2013 - Soft launch of first draft of Web Literacy standard
  • 26 July 2013 - Request For Comments (RFC): milestone release of standard
  • May-September 2013 - Feedback and iteration
  • October 2013 - 'Code freeze' to finalise v1.0 of the standard
  • 25-27 October 2013 - v1.0 of the Web Literacy standard launched at the Mozilla Festival
  • November 2013 onwards - Organizations align with the standard
