I'm a New Hire, is there Special Gear for me?

The People Team is investigating the option to have designated 'New Hire' Packages within the Gear Store. With these packages, each new hire would be extended a voucher code which they can utilize to log-in to the store and order the package which would include the *essential* Mozilla Gear that will help them successfully start their time at Mozilla! Look for more info on this topic from them soon.

Where can I go to Buy Gear?

The cost of all gear selected on gear.mozilla.org will be deducted from your team's gear budget (for more information about budgets, please see below). If you would like to purchase t-shirts for personal use (or to give out to friends!), please continue to do so through the Mozilla Foundation.

Moving forward, we will investigate options for having a store open to the public where gear can be purchased. More updates on a public-facing store will be available in late 2012.

I work for the Mozilla Foundation, where can I obtain Gear?

For the time-being, the Mozilla Foundation has decided to focus its gear around its Webmaker program and will not be utilizing the site. If you have any questions about gear, please contact Michelle Thorne and michelle@mozillafoundation.org.

Budgets? Tell Me More...

Great news! - each team now has assigned to them an extra bit of money to help this year with the cost of gear. These budgets have been assigned to each team based on the number of paid-staff and volunteers on their team. It doesn't sound like fun (or at least to some), but we need be able to track what we spend, when we go over budget, and have the flexibility to get more if needed.
