Tweet Bank: It's NEW! (Matt T + Rebeccah)
How to promote your stuff through Mozilla channels- You've got a story or announcement you want to promote. From the @Mozilla twitter account, Facebook, etc.
- As we approach MozFest, communications / promotional meltdown can occur
- Here's how to do it:
- 1) Go here
- 2) Scroll down to the date or dates you want
- 3) Paste in our tweet or status update. Using the handy Etherpad Indicator(tm) to detect 144 character length!
- 4) That's it! Matt and Rebeccah will edit and tweak accordingly.
- Tips and tricks:
- Make it clear what the reader's getting on the either side of the click.
- Consider an arc over multiple days. Especially for stuff with deadlines. (e.g, "only 5 days left to apply for the OpenArt fellowships")
- Bear in mind that you're writing for "@Mozilla." Use our voice and tone.
