Renegade Craft Fair

Renegade Craft Fair takes place in San Francisco on July 18 - 19, 2009. The Renegade Craft Fair embodies the DIY spirit, showcasing 300 artists and crafters. The fairs take place in Brooklyn, Chicago, Los Angeles & San Francisco, and draw 10,000s of people to each event. The audience includes hipsters, hobbyists, families and crafters. Labs and the AMO team would like to work as a team to expose the many ways to customize Firefox, including Personas and add-ons which are often made by hobbyists!

Objectives:

• Personas: Garner more awareness for Personas and drive new contributions.
• AMO: Expose and drive new Add-ons Collections and garner overall awareness for Firefox customization.
• Marketing: Much like the Green Festival, Mozilla will aim to expose Firefox and the Mozilla organization to end-users who are "conscious consumers."

Activities:

• Host a booth:
  • Add-ons: Demo DIY-friendly add-ons and collections (i.e. Addart, Personas, WordPress Helpter, etc)
  • Personas:
    • Custom Personas: Sean Martell to help artists create original personas on site.
    • Launch Project Art contest
