MozillaID

The concept of a MozillaID is a single user identity/auth credentials that can be used across all Mozilla properties. This is a project for webdev to work on in the second half of 2008.

Scope

Which properties will use this?
Which web services?
What problem are we hoping to solve?
Account signup/admin/banning/password reset
Do we want true SSO or just one account?
What requirements do we have:
- technically
- privacy
- Open Web wise

Technology survey

What technologies are available? What fits our requirements?
- OpenID?
- LDAP?
