Firefox/Decade
Firefox's 10 Year Anniversary
Why
Browsers near parity -- clear differentiation is harder & research shows passive Firefox brand affinity.
Firefox grows only when people choose (driven by user recommendations) and Firefox user likelihood to recommend is not strong enough.
Time to light a fire, stir the rebellion, take back the Web!
To grow Firefox we must...
- draw clearer distinctions in the product experience.
- strengthen our "independent choice" promise.
- be bolder in our policy and media opinion.
So that users, developers, influencers (press, industry, individuals), and community members not only feel, but can articulate our difference...
...because referrals are what ultimately drives our growth.
Goals and Objectives
Renew the Firefox brand & set the stage for growth in 2015.
