L10n kit
We use Mercurial and text editors to localize Firefox and Thunderbird. When possible, we use Verbatim to localize web content, otherwise we use SVN and text editors.

How to join this l10n team
We welcome all new localizers and contributors. Being a localizer at Mozilla is fun and gives you great power. But with great power there must also come — great responsibility! It's not only important to start a localization project, but to also keep it up to date. If you see something interesting, don't start in a rush. Someone might be already working on it and we don't want to waste anyone's time.
Please follow these steps before you start contributing:
- Join us on Google Groups.
- Check if there are already open threads or open a new discussion to introduce yourself and explain what you'd like to do.
- Wait for instructions on how to proceed.
Localizing SUpport.MOzilla.org (SUMO)
If you want to help localize http://support.mozilla.org/sl into Slovenian, please do the following:
- Create a SUMO account
- If you can, get in touch with the Group Leader(s) listed here via a Private Message. If there is nobody listed there, please get in touch with Michał / vesper.
- Read our universal l10n documentation here. For language-specific documentation, please get in touch with your Group Leader(s).
- Visit your language thread in the forums and introduce yourself to the community. We don’t bite, unless you’re made of cake.
- You're ready to go! If you have any questions, ask them on the forums.
