Mozilla Academy Framework

Welcome to the Mozilla Wiki page dedicated to the Mozilla Academy initiative and framework. MozAcademy is a series of technical events/workshops focused to attract technical contributors in intensive weekly training sessions. This wiki page will work as a documentation page for all the activities with the aim to create an even more structured framework that can be replicated easily by any community around the world.

What it is about:

Mozilla Academy (short MozAcademy) is a series of technical events/workshops focused to attract contributors in intensive weekly training sessions. It is designed to run for several months and is the result of the Participation Team efforts for Firefox OS, starting as a pilot project in Albania at Open Labs hackerspace, where Mozilla Albania is incubated.

MozAcademy in its first iteration has a technical focus, specifically facilitating and promoting Firefox OS events where participants can interact with technical projects focusing on the Ignite initiative and the Spark tools in Firefox OS 2.5 Participants are encouraged to hack on Firefox OS add-ons, apps and bugs.
