A list of projects that are being worked on in Add-ons.

Iterations

Each iteration (or milestone) is two weeks long, giving three milestones per Firefox train.

Each project has a meeting at the beginning of each iteration to talk about the previous iteration and the current iteration.

JS Validator

  • What: porting validator to JS (see github)
  • Goals: Create a validator that can be run off-line for developers in the command line or browser. Improve performance. Clean out a lot of technical debt and improve the validator.

  • Who: Mossop and Rob
  • What: Allowing unsigned Add-ons in stable

API

  • Who: Christopher and Magopian
  • What: Making AMO into an API driven site, ready for UX redesigns [Add-ons/Projects/API|Want a roadmap]?

Metrics

  • Who: Kumar
  • What: get a basic dashboard of metrics for AMO using graphite to give us visibility into the review queues, after we've got the dashboard up, we'll ask for feedback

  • Status: To be stood up week of Sep 25th
  • Done, you need to be behind a VPN to see the dashboard
