Projects I am currently working on, as of 2016-01-07:

Documentation Overhaul

2016Q1 goal Urgency: medium Impact: high (in terms of sustainability)

Role: work with the rest of the Cloud Services teams to clear documentation-based obstacles to adoption and testing of our software.

Outreachy program mentoring

2015-11-15 through 2016-03-15 Urgency: high Impact: high but future

Role: Mentor Cynthia Anyango as part of the Documentation Overhaul process, and help her navigate Mozilla resources and processes. Give feedback to the Outreachy admins about what worked and what didn't.

Sync and its cousins (Kinto, Cliquet, Syncto)

Ongoing Urgency: medium Impact: medium to high

Role: Help Chris Hartjes get started with testing Kinto, and validate his automated testing designs. Help Rémy Hubscher validate automated testing for Syncto. Help Bob Micheletto run timely system testing of Sync 1.5. Participate in design decisions about integrating Push technology into future versions of Sync.

QA Jenkins

Ongoing Urgency: high Impact: medium to high

Role: Share responsibility for the QA Jenkins instance with the Cloud Services QA team, including ensuring that jobs run correctly and in a timely fashion.

One and Done

Ongoing Urgency: medium Impact: medium

Role: Share responsibility with Rebecca Billings and Bob Silverberg for making sure One and Done gets security updates and periodic infusions of new tasks.

Role: help Richard as necessary with logistical details.

Geolocation/Mozilla Location Services

Deadline: none Urgency: medium Impact: low to medium (at least short-term)

Role: some load testing, QA point person in conjunction with client teams for MozStumbler.
