Firefox Funnelcakes are special releases of the desktop browser designed to test product opportunities. They are variations on the current product that include features or settings not included in the current product -- for example, a funnelcake might set some browser preference to "true" by default, while it is normally set to "false" by default in the current product. Funnelcakes are distributed on normal download channels for some period of time to a small subset of downloaders.
