What is Foxfooding?

Foxfooding (more generally referred to as Dogfooding) is using our own products to find issues and improve quality before we release.

How to Participate

Setup

• Install Firefox Nightly
• Install the profiling extension
• Use the extension

Day-to-Day Use

When you notice slowness or "jank"

• Capture your profile information

Submit Profile

• Take the URL for your profile
• Submit your profile

What Happens Next?

• Your profile will be reviewed
• You will get an update with a bug reference if a bug was able to be filed
