Experience Team Fenix Bugs

• Jira and GitHub:
  • FXDROID backlog
  • FNXV2 issues in Jira but not GitHub
  • FNXV2 issues not in the FXDROID backlog
  • If there are any "fxdroid" bugs not synced to Jira, notify the Jira admins in the #jbi Slack channel.

• Async triage: assign severities to defects
  • 1. Critical defects with no severity (crashes, regressions, sec bugs, etc)
  • 2. Defects filed in Bugzilla with no severity
  • 3. Defects moved from GitHub with no severity (that look like Softvision bugs)
  • 4. Defects moved from GitHub with no severity
  • 5. All defects with no severity

• Team backlog refinement: assign priorities and ranks (100-599) to bugs
  • 1. Bugs with an assignee but no priority
  • 2. Defects with severity S1-S2 and no priority
  • 3. Tasks with no priority
  • 4. Defects with severity S3-S4 and no priority
  • 5. Enhancements with no priority
  • 6. All bugs with no priority

• P1 bugs with fxdroid / without fxdroid
• P2 bugs with fxdroid / without fxdroid
• P3 bugs
• P5 bugs

The Experience team is responsible for:

• Fenix components: Accounts and Sync, Bookmarks, Collections, Experimentation and Telemetry, General, History, Homepage, Logins, Onboarding, Performance, Pocket, Push, QR, Search, Share, Tabs, Toolbar, Top Sites

• Untriaged security bugs (missing priority, severity, or sec- keyword) ⚠️

• sec-low/other bugs

Crash Reports

• Recent "mozilla." Java exceptions: parent / content
• Nightly 113 crashes: parent / content / gpu
• Beta 112 crashes: parent / content / gpu
• Release 111 crashes: parent / content / gpu

• Crash bugs that haven't been updated for more than three months. If they haven't had any recent crash reports, we can close the the bugs.

• Untriaged access bugs ("access" keyword but no "access-s" severity)
